In some way or another, our practice of reaching for highly processed foods low in nutrition will catch up with us eventually. What we put on our fork is really in our control. You know that eating healthy is the best medicine out there. It is better than any prescription drug. 

So this week, lets start off by getting rid of the sluggishness and feeling groggy. Lets reverse the effects of processed foods.

Prenez un déjeuner à haute teneur en fibres alimentaires et riche en protéines (p. ex. : des flocons d’avoine moulue sur meule de pierre avec des fruits et un œuf dur). Le déjeuner constitue la base d’habitudes alimentaires à la fois saines et durables. Cela est d’autant plus vrai dans le cas des enfants, étant donné que de nombreuses habitudes acquises durant l’enfance se poursuivent jusqu’à l’âge adulte. De plus, le déjeuner aide à maîtriser les fringales ainsi qu’à régulariser l’apport calorique et les fluctuations d’énergie pendant toute la journée. Si vous êtes de ceux* qui sautent régulièrement le déjeuner, commencez dès maintenant à le considérer comme le repas le plus important de la journée.

Before I started I felt down a lot, no energy, unhappy with myself. Now I feel proud again, happy and excited. 
I love training. It lifts me up.  

What made me decide. I took a look at myself one day in the mirror and said where did this vibrant happy girl go. 
I got tired of feeling sluggish, and out of breath a lot. Plus my friend recommended Paravie and I seen the wonderful changes in her too while she was in the program. 
The changes I seen is Im glowing more, my skin looks more radiant. Im getting a butt again. Lol  
The feelings I feel after each workout are determination, pride, happiness, excitement.  

To someone who is unsure about Paravie, take that leap. I was at first but I did and I love it. It is a wonderful life change.  

I would recommend Paravie to everyone. Wonderful trainer, lots of support, fun, always something new. Program made to fit your goals.

Here we go again... the Holiday Season is upon us. Keeping fit, staying healthy and sticking to our fitness program can be daunting.

Its been reported by the Public Health of Canada, that 64% of Canadians 18 years old and older are overweight or obese. An even more shocking news is that 30% of children 17 years and younger are also overweight or obese.

These numbers are definitely on the rise. Given this pandemic situation we find ourselves in, all the more reason we have to do everything we can not to settle in this sedentary lifestyle make things worse.

If losing weight and burning body fat are what you want to do, there are a few things that will help you take control.

1) Be clear on what your goal is: to lose weight and firm-up.
2) Learn how to make healthy meals that are equally nutritious and delicious.
3) Find out what kind of training will help you lose the weight and make your body effective in burning body fat.
4) Find out how you can make cardio workouts not a waste of your time.

Work with a trainer who can help you through this. The Holiday Season doesnt need to be a time out from your fitness journey.

Theres not one candy, candy bar or chocolate in our house... we actually tried to find boxes of treats to buy for the expected few trick or treaters who may come by the house. But last-minute shoppers like us were out of luck.

Well, now we prepare for the Christmas Holiday Season. Celebrations may be different this year, depending still on the pandemic situation we are in. 

Why not focus on your health and wellness. What is your workout routine? Have you stopped, or kept it up? Whats your set up at home? What do you do to keep fit?
